Lower control arm alignment ?
I'm about to start re-assembly and have got to wondering....
How does everyone line up their LCAs before tightening the u-bolts? How do you know if they are located correctly (not to far forward or back)? I repainted mine, so I have no old markings to go by. Thanks in advance, for any help you all can give I just realized that I probably should have asked this in the suspension section. Hopefully I can still get some good feedback in here

Re: Lower control arm alignment ?
There is a hole in the shaft near the rear bushing. It lines up with a peg in the rear mounting were the shaft goes.

Re: Lower control arm alignment ?
More of an indent than a hole, right?

Re: Lower control arm alignment ?
Its the only hole or indent in the A-arm shaft...

Probably didn't need to be said, but I know sometimes people get confused and I've seen people try to put control arms on backwards on other vehicles I want to thank you guys again, because lining those up were a piece of cake

Re: Lower control arm alignment ?
I'm glad you got it figured. I used to work on 30 series trucks & they have the locator at the rear mount.

Re: Lower control arm alignment ?
Not a problem. I just got my new spindles in the mail yesterday, so I will be installing them today (I painted them last night)
