WTB bench seat

Hey guys, I'm just getting started with my 68 C10 stepside. Looking for an original bench seat, in decent shape, within 150 miles of Lexington. Ky.

Re: WTB bench seat

Welcome to he board !
I am in Lexington also, maybe we are neighbors ?

Please post some pictures of your truck . And don't hesitate to ask for help on this board, the people on here are great.

I may have a seat for sale in a few weeks but it would be expensive. I'm switching to bucket seats. What color are you looking for ? Mine is parchment with black houndstooth cloth.

Hey Larry, thanks for the welcome! Looking for Black or red, but I'd consider anything with decent bones. It's pretty rough right now, but I like turning a sow's ear into a silk purse I'll post pics soon.

Re: WTB bench seat

Welcome Soulbilly, Larry emailed me on your search for seat. I may have one, depends on if you want one that the back folds forward. Some of the 68's I've had did, not sure if that was factory, but it bolted in correctly. The ones I do have came out of 69-72's non-folding. I live in Mt.Sterling, about 30 miles east of Lexington. I have about five available in different conditions, just let me know. Thanks, Mike

Thanks, Mike! I am not too concerned about the upholstery. Doesn't need to be a folding version, either. I'm hoping for one with decent padding/springs int the $100-$200 range.
