Gennie Shifter for 700r4, 4L60, 4L80, TH400
Sold Sold Sold I bought this shifter kit new, assembled and installed it on my 700R4 then decided to go with column shift. When i purchased it it was $333 with shipping. See post #31 and #33 in my build thread to see it installed. I did have trouble with the neutral switch being cross threaded but Gennie (great folks) provided a replacement switch and bracket. The stripped one is also included just so you can see. It has a 16 inch shifter with a knob for a 700R4, all the instructions and a shifter boot kit. I will sell the whole deal for $225 shipped to the lower 48. What you see is what you get (except receipt I will keep that).

Re: Gennie Shifter for 700r4, 4L60, 4L80, TH400
I was impressed by how simple and well thought out the design is. They have a site http://www.gennieshifter.com/ you can look at. Several board members have also commented on them as preferred over the competition. The search function is working so you should be able to get other folks opinions also. I would have stayed with it but I had to install a new steering column and I was keeping the bench seat so that is how I ended up going.

Gennie has different length shift levers and different knobs. It would not be difficult to make your own lever and knob as there are no buttons or magic involved. See the web site for more info. It did work with the bench seat I just did not want to go that way. The cab seemed to me to have more room with column shift. I did clear my stock seat

Nope I am going to stand firm on the $225 shipped. As the man said "It aint' eaten nothin". If I don't sell it I will just put it in the next project.
