Original rear bumper?

I found a rear bumper for sale and I am leaving to go look at it in an hour.

Anyway to make sure it's original and not a reproduction made in China? Except for the made in China stamp, lol.

Re: Original rear bumper?

The reproduction sport bumpers are very nice. I've bought several from Brothers and have no complaints.

Re: Original rear bumper?

Original bumpers have a hole near and notch at the the bottom of the bumper. The notch and hole show in the pics. If you put aChinese bumper on a truck don't crank on the bolts too hard or it will warp, ask me how I know, where as the original are much thicker steel and won't.

Re: Original rear bumper?

My after market bumper has holes in it like that I have been happy with my bumper when installing. Bolt bumper brackets to bumper first do not over torque them then attatch the brackets to the frame.
