Trac bar measurements

I need some help under standing how to measure for my new adjustable trac bar. I've just lowered the rear on my burban with 2in blocks and air bags. I've been told to measure with the truck at the desired ride height and use that measurement. If this true? And help/advice is what I'm looking for. 26in is the measurement I have roughly from just last night

Re: Trac bar measurements

You need to have the truck as close to ride height as possible, because the bar can move the differential to one side as it travels through its range of motion. So, if you measure it at one point which may be a few inches away from your ride height it may be off a little at your ride height.
