Deluxe Heater Box Won't Come Off...

I must be missing something or doing it completely wrong. I would like to unbolt my deluxe heater box and either revert to standard heater style or reinstall the large heater box AFTER i've done my engine swap. For now it has to come out. I took out every bolt I could see but the box did not separate from the firewall.

Hey thanks. I looked up under there and couldn't figure out if any needed to come out.

So I loosen everything under the hood and only 2 inside the cab?

The heater box has 2 studs that protrude thru the firewall with nuts on them.

+1

They are speed nuts and you will need a deep socket. Forget the size however......
