72 K10 SWB project for someone

Not mine but here in MT. It's received some adds like the molding but may make a nice project for someone. Member Redbaron called my attention to this truck. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-C-...US_Cars_Trucks

Looks like a relatively easy build... Love the medium blue too!

Re: 72 K10 SWB project for someone

was watchin that one, nice little k10 shortie. There was a 69 k10 in saddle with marker lights up there in MT also that just sold. For a great price too, around $4100... Kinda wish I'd jumped on that one. Or this one... Ha. Holding out for that K20 though, someday...

Pete, you ever talk to your old builder in NM?? You KNOW why I'm asking...

It was killing me - that 69 sat on CL for a long time at an asking price of ~$2900. That seemed like a real clean truck.

I know EXACTLY why you are asking....no word but I'll try to call and see what's what...

Re: 72 K10 SWB project for someone

Ha, thanks Pete. That's one I might have to sell the farm for. Did it have a parchment interior (I assume)? If it were a custom camper, I'd be on his doorstep by now.

Yes, the saddle 69 was a pretty nice deal, even at 4100. Floors had some rot, but the body was very nice overall. I'm a sucker for marker lights, so finding one with those tends to steer me in that direction. Oh well, the search continues.

You bet! Yes, it has a parchment interior. That one would be quite a score.
