Nice truck. Now I don't feel bad for what I paid for mine. It was in the same ballpark.

Way overpriced. Around here that's a 1,000 dollar truck.

Really Gary? I paid a little less than the asking price in this ad for my all original 69 with no rust. I felt it was a tad high but fair since it was complete and original. Down here $1k will buy you a hacked up or rusted truck that MAY run. Maybe I need to look for a 67 up there.

Re: Not mine but nice buy for a C10 in Miami area
Yup... really. That truck has a lot of rust... there is cancer in the bedsides and in the bottom of the doors. I look at it waaaayyyy different then a lot of cats on here. These are trucks... not Camaros and Corvettes. "All original", "numbers matching" and all that really means nothing but sentimental value to the seller. These rigs are utilitarian in nature and had no specialty equipment, save a posi-traction rear axle and some creature comforts like A/C and an AM/FM radio.
That being said... if you got a TRUE original truck with NO rust... by all means it's worth over 5 grand. But a truck that got washed and spit shined with all that rust and dents... 1,000 bones... all day. BTW... I paid under 1,000 bucks for my rig... and I yarded it out of a field and drove it home. It has less rust than the truck in the ad. Drove it home over 100 miles, and washed it. It was a true diamond in the rough. Gary

You have valid points. I only noticed the rust around the drip rail. Clearly didn't look close enough. Thanks for clarifying.

To me, if you are going to restore the truck, it takes the about the same amount of $ to restore GASoline71's truck and the one in the AD. My starting truck $350 - running and straight with very little more rust than the AD. I would like to peck on that AD truck to see just how much thin metal there is.

Re: Not mine but nice buy for a C10 in Miami area
Beat me to it, there's lots of rust on this truck. Looks like they pulled it from the bushes, detailed it & are trying to bank on it now. Was most likely a $500 field truck prior to this. Deff way over priced.
