Intake questions

As some of you know, I am taking off my edelbrock intake & carb. Too much problems with them over the years. I am going back to a stock intake & quadrajet.

My question is: I don't need emissions here and they will not be on it. What years of vehicles can I look for a good cast iron intake from?

Thanks
Tommy

ANY OLDER MODEL 350 INTAKE SHOULD WORK.....
i had just what you needed but.....sold it on e-bay for 10.00
there are a few models...

one that use's the little spring box for the choke.....

one that use's the preheat tube for the choke.....

make a post on the parts board 67-72

I've got a stock carb and intake off an emissions free 350 if you're interested. The intake needs a good cleaning and the carb is freshly rebuilt. Spring style choke that matches up with the carb perfectly. I've had the carb running on my truck, but swapped it off for the correct hot air choke carb.

If you're interested, its all yours for 75 bucks + shipping, or shipping costs if you are willing to trade me your Edlebrock carb and intake for them. I'll be sure to clean em up real nice and paint them if you want them painted before shipping them down to you.

PM me if interested

intake

I got ahold of a q-jet w/ electric choke already. I was just wondering if all the intakes will fit. I am needing one without the hot air choke and without the egr provision.

Sorry, might already have a buyer for the edelbrock system. Will let you know if he doesn't buy it.

the intake I have is ERG free, and has a spring style choke (it can just sit there and do nothing if you are putting an electric Q-Jet on) If you are interested, I'm an option, but look closer first, shipping will be expensive...

Tommy, I can't be of much help on your intake question. Could you take a look at this link and see if you have any information?
