67-72 Suburban cargo mat
Is anybody running like a rubber cargo mat in your Burb?
I'm working on a patina truck that has a vintage shop truck theme. So looking for something with utility. It looks there was a third row seat at some point and thee is still, what looks like a heater/fan in the floor where the third row would have been. I want to remove that and cover the hole but then put a utility mat over it. Anybody care to share some pics of what you have done with your cargo area? I have seen a mat in one of the catalogs (LMC I think) that had a cargo area cover but the way it was described was a cover to protect the carpet. If it like what the wife had in her suburban it was a big semi-rigid plastic mat with a 1.5" lip in case of spills or other things that rolled around. Has anyone bought or used one of these?

Re: 67-72 Suburban cargo mat
I used a utility mat.. I managed to get free shipping. I'm sure they lost money because that mat is heavy. The trimming was easily done with a soapy utility knife. I like it.
