You can also look at other key details. A big one is the rubber pads on the pedals. A true low mileage truck/car will show slight wear but be close to new. Most over 75,000 will look warn out. Paint on the steering wheel, areas where the keys rub when driving, seat material, etc., etc...

Above poster-I change my pedal pads every 100K so you may get tricked on that if that is all you look at. The other things you mention are very valid.
