Jeep TJ rear coils on a 66?
I SWEAR I read somewhere that you can run Jeep TJ (97-06) stock rear coil springs for a 4" drop? Is that correct?

From what I have read the drop is closer to 5".

Re: Jeep TJ rear coils on a 66?
I've read that there are different TJ springs- I think they have color coded tags on them? The different rates will change the amount of drop.
On my '66 I cut 1.5 coils off the front springs and the TJ rear springs were a good match. Before and after adding the rear springs. Both pics have the cut front coils. Here is another truck with TJ springs and 2" blocks. It's about as low as my '66 with just springs. Mine must have softer spring rates.
