Wiring help neded
Learned a lesson today that I have a 69 suburban and the 71-72 will not work. I have a 8 pin connector for my tail lights, dome and cab lights that the later do not. Looking over the schematic I also have a different wiring color code line up in the 12 pin connector for the cluster with gauges and even different for the 71-72 suburban's.
What I need is someone with 69 suburban and gauges that could tell me the color for each pin #. I have the schematic and not matching up to either year. Thanks

Re: Wiring help neded
I don't see how a 1969 Suburban harness can be different than that of a 71-72... They have the same light and fuel gauge wiring as your 1969.
I know that when I purchased a new rear harness, the main plug that goes to the fuse panel plug had to be pinned by me. Since you had to fish it through the A pillar, perhaps someone pinned the plug prior to shipping not thinking about it?
