IM new here and this is my 82 blazer build.
hi my name is Craig I have just bought a pretty rough k5 blazer for $1600 here in Ashland mo. it didn't seem so bad until I unloaded it and started checking it out. the first thing I noticed was someone sprayed bed liner rubber on the entire inside even the dash and the carpet on the doors. the seats were all mismatched from I don't know what. it had a non running 305/th350/208. after some tinkering I have it running by just simply removing the Q-junk internal filter. and the whole interior is painted bright yellow. the top had so much crap on it from tree sap and old dirt it looked like someone tried to pave it with black top. the bone are good but the rear quarte4rs over the wheels are gone and the fenders need work and I've already replaced the hood. I have already picked up another 89 jimmy with no title if someone wants parts when I'm done. but anyways I've picked up about $4,000 in parts, some already on the truck and others in boxes in the back of the truck. I also have more stuff to get as usual I always run outta money before the parts list is gone. i did pick up a 427 tall deck BBC from an 82 Chevy c70. i need a carb, aluminum intake, msd ignition, aluminum water pump, and long tube headers, the intake and water pump are just to be able to use a regular radiator since the in/out hoses are like 3" diameter. I'll have more pics as i go along but for now this is after i cleaned it up, washed it out, and removed most of the junk.

Re: IM new here and this is my 82 blazer build.
thank you blown I have been on this site a lot but never a member I have had a 74 c10 low rider and a 79 k10 mud toy/farm truck before I got a lot of ideas for them from here. im sorry I haven't posted anything since the first post I have been working and its in the 20s outside and I don't have a garage so its been hard to do anything to the truck. I bought a lot of parts and paint materials and body stuff I just haven't done anything yet. im actually kinda surprised no one else has posted anything.

I hear you on the cold part. I've done a few small projects but have definitely slowed down with the weather. What do you have planned for it?
