Six Lug Ralley wheels
I have a set of six lug corvette looking ralley wheels, the axle opening is larger than the hub on my 67 c10 rear is it OK to install these and run them?

Yes,... with the correct "acorn style" lug nuts.

The lug nuts should have a chamfer (bevel) on the end, rather than being flat. The chamfer centers the wheels on the lugs.
You're looking for lug nuts like the ones on the left in the image. |

X2, with above^^^^^ but, it depends on what center cap you use. With OEM Corvette center caps those lug nuts will hit, i had to use standard lug nuts for clearance

What I'm asking is, does the wheel opening have to be tight around the hub of the axle or is OK that the lug nuts carry the weight. It's about a 1/4" larger that the stock wheels.
