That is why i always suggest taken the cut off frasme horns and stickin them and tack welding them inside the frame channels to reuse if you go back to a bumper

That's a pretty good idea in all honesty. I personally wouldn't ever ditch them in the first place but to each his own.

My 67 has the same issue. PO cut mine off for a roll pan also. Looks like he used a torch though. I will probably have to recut my frame then weld the donor horns back on.
