Drag links
I know this is nothing to do with suspension, but no where else to post.
Okay everyone laugh at once and get it out....okay, I am replacing my front and rear drag links on my 72 K5. I removed them, purchased new ones and now can't remember which is the front(connects to pitman arm) and rear (connects to steering arm. One is a couple inches longer. Is it that important. Only thing I see it doing is changing the direction you adjust for lengthening and shortening. Any thoughts? Thanks |

Re: Drag links
one should have a right had thread and the other should have a left hand thread so you can adjust the length without removing it. look up new ones and see if it tells you which threads it has or the length.
might be wrong but that is how it works on a jeep so these trucks may be different. never looked at one of these trucks that was 4wd. |
