Why you going with the Moroso springs later, do you plan on your truck being a track vehicle?
Those springs are not good for the street. They don't have enough stability in them for handling around corners, to make them a good driving spring. They are really designed for drag strip launches and easy weight transfer. They are also usually used without a sway bar.

I ran the trick springs in a 68 Camaro I had. And I HIGHLY recommend that you don't...
You should be able to make the truck weight transfer and hook with using either stock or lowering springs and maintain some civility to it.

Re: Lowering kit plus trick springs in the front?
The stock spring rate is in the 750ish range for a stock SB truck. The Moroso heavy spring is about 300ish IIRC. The moroso spring is about 20 inches free length maybe more. I bet it would be a nightmare installing them. I would think they would be nearly coil bound at ride height.
