Re: New un-named crew cab project......
Hey Joe, how is it going. I just bought a 1977 K5 Chevy Blazer with a 350/350. It has been sitting a while. It was running when parked. I got it home with help from the guy I got it from and have been tinkering with it. At first I couldn't get it to turn over, but after tapping on the starter, it now turns over fine. I have to get it to get gas now and hopefully we will be good to go. Keep updating us from time to time with your truck.

Re: New un-named crew cab project......
Joe, I will probably do both once I figure out again how to post pictures. I got the Blazer running today. It has sat since 2003 and once I got it firing and gas poured in the carb, it fired right up. It sounds good but needs a tune up, which I am ordering in. I have to change the transmission filter and fluid. I hope the transmission works after sitting so long, but I have had good luck with a turbo 350 trans before.

Re: New un-named crew cab project......
Here is a picture of my Blazer. It has rust as you can see, but it won't hurt what I want to do with it (drive and play on the Ice Road to Kotzebue, Alaska this next winter). [IMG][/IMG]

Re: New un-named crew cab project......
This truck has moved on to a new owner. It's currently under the knife getting shortened and lifted. I'll try to get some pics from the new owner...

I got an offer I couldn't refuse and picked up a 98 crew cab with a 6.5 Turbo Diesel...
