WTB Backing Plates

I am looking for backing plates to install the 2 3/4 wide brakes on the rear of my 84 1/2T 2wd. I am not sure what other years will fit. It looks like the drums, shoes, etc are the same back to 72. I believe this is the JB5 option on the newer trucks. It looks like these brakes were standard up until sometime in the late 70's.

I've got a 10 bolt in mine. Do you know if the axle flanges are the same? Could you measure the bolt pattern for the attaching bolts so I can compare it to mine?

Thanks

yeah the bolt pattern is the same..

I have a 68 SWb with a 95 model 10 bolt and i put backer plates off the 12 bolt that was in the truck on it. I might have a pair of 10 bolt backer plates off of a 85 if the housing hasnt been hauled off yet.

Sorry for the slow reply but i didnt notice you replied untill tonihgt.

No problem on the reply. I realize we all have other things going. Probably looking at the Janet Jackson pictures.

If you have a good set of backing plates for the 2 3/4 wide shoes, can you figure the shipping to 46229?

Is a money order ok?
