Parting a 72 BB SWB Chassis (not an original BB Chassis)
All,
I've decided to sell my BB Chassis to fund my pending garage build. (this is not an original BB SWB Chassis) There is a member who was interested in it that I am waiting for an answer if they are getting it. After that answer I will be parting the entire truck in some larger parts. I rebuilt this chassis 3 years ago and drove it daily as a cleaned up cruiser. At that time I rebuilt the front suspension with all new brakes and shocks (both front and rear) and replaced basically everything in the front suspension. I removed the body to put it on another project after I rebuilt that frame. The motor was covered with a very thick tarp since the body was removed and all open holes are covered and ziptied. The following was replaced at the same time I freshened up the suspension... New water pump, p/s pump, alt, Stainless Steel P/S lines (from the board) and new gearbox. It has 72 motor mounts on it as well and the correct 7042208 carb for it as well. The transmission was rebuilt at that time as well and the truck has 18K miles since the rebuild. The motor does not smoke or have any issues at all. The brakes are still sealed, working and connected to the master cylinder and the truck will fire with a trigger switch. It has new dual exhaust and there are no leaks on any fluids except the transmission fill tube (seeping) and I will replace that gasket before it sells. The cab has had the Cab corners and rockers done previously. Here is the breakdown that I'd like to go with: Rolling Chassis $750sold Motor/tranny combo $1500sold Cab $750Sold Grill $175 Blue Front end $300 SWB Bed sides $275 and $225 SWB Floor (wavy and a few pits but solid) $300 BB High Hump $90Sold BB Fan Shroud $90sold I would possibly breakdown the motor parts later if it doesn't sell complete. I will not be shipping this as everything is large or heavy. I can load anything purchased on any trailer you bring.

Here is the SWB sides.
One is very solid and the other is solid except for the 3"X3" spot pictured in #5. I can get better pics of anything you need!

Are the Alt, PS pump and mounts included in the motor price?? If so I'd be interested if you'ld also include motor mounts and frame horns.

I can remove it and have it hanging from the puller for loading. If you need the gearbox that is separate.

And the frame horns are they going with the chassis?? I'd also need the big block fan shroud. Do you know if there is any difference between the high hump floor for a 4 speed and the high hump for a BB auto?

I think you mean the frame motor mounts and clamshells. Yes they go with the motor. I have a shroud and bb high hump. They are different from 4 speed.

Ok , I'll take the motor, trans, fan shroud and floor pan. PM with your address and Ph #. If you need a dep. to hold the items I'll send you 1. It'll likely be late next week or the week of the 23rd before I can come down to PU the items

The 4 speed and bb humps are different by the hole is the only difference.
