High price on the west coast. You can get rust free recently painted ones for $7-8gs.

It's usually cheaper to ship than to fix rust.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you as we need more of them around here. It must be like living at the Playboy Mansion for you guys in CA, OR, WA and TX where all 1950s - 1970s Chevy and GMC trucks went to live.

I don't know what I would do with myself if we had all those 67-72s! I'd end up having WAY to many, thats what😃

Re: screening deal on a blazer

They make you broke that's for sure. We're down to the two '57s now after selling all my '67-72 stuff off. Now just random parts laying around lol There are just so many ones out here, it's hard to choose but everybody waits till they are priced reasonable. Our high prices are guys low prices back east and I can't imagine paying those prices for rust buckets. I'm used to mostly rust free trucks in the $2-4g range and old resto's going for less than $10gs lol

It used to be more like the Playboy mansion, but now there's more gold diggers these days and "agents" trying to make money off the rest. Now people quote NADA and Barrett Jackson like those prices actually matter out here when they don't lol Or you have resellers buying up everything in sight, jacking up the prices and sending them back east. You have to be very quick out here when you see a good deal though and buy that day or next, which would be an amazing deal or steal for some of you guys lol If it's a decent deal, it'll sit on CL for a week or two then somebody will buy it. If it's an OK price it'll sit longer. Too high for us (good for eastern prices) it'll stay for months hahaha

If you find something out here, buy it and drive it back or ship it. The less rust you have to deal with the better and sometimes it's worth while to keep saving an extra $2gs or so and grab something mostly redone.

Says no rust, but I see some rust. Although I figure it'll go a bit cheaper than posted anyways so could be a decent buy. Would really have to look it over though. I was tempted to go down and check it out, but putting the $ into the '57 GMC now instead.

Re: screening deal on a blazer

The soft top looks to be a goner. It appears to have been installed wrong (snaps in wrong locations), and i looks like it has shrunk a few inches in all directions! Also, when you see a Blazer with black paint below the trim, 95% of the time it means that rust has been badly repaired beneath it
