I'm planning to repaint my hub caps soon. They will go on a 1976 Custom Deluxe. They are white with black "spoke" ring and black center circle with a yellow bowtie in the very center.

The black and white are not hard to guess, but what is the correct color for the yellow bowtie?

I have 4 caps original to the truck, and just stumbled across 4 more for spares.

There is a lot of rust under the white paint, but very little on the black. Is lightly sandblasting the right way to get the rust and old paint off?
