Can you date this panel?
First, sorry if this is the wrong place or fourm.
The picture is one of the two painting trucks my family owned from sometime in the 60s to the mid 80s My grandmother believes this one is original paint and the older one they used house paint to match this truck So far this is the only picture I have and will be searching for more this weekend. Can anyone tell me what year this panel is and if it is a factory color. I'm hoping to find a project of the same year to make a replica family truck |

1962 Panel. I've seen that colour on the 60-66 trucks before so most likely a stock colour, but they did have special order colours for business/fleet vehicles back then.

Re: Can you date this panel?
I think it is a 1963 because of the grill

If I wasn't married I'd probably consider dating her.

Re: Can you date this panel?
The wrap around windshield makes it a 60-63. Then the hood narrows it down to a 62-63. I don't know enough about the grilles to date it.

Re: Can you date this panel?
The grill, and the cowl badges indicate 1962.

Re: Can you date this panel?
Is the grill like the pic 60-66 posted? I thought the large single headlight grill was always a 63.

Re: Can you date this panel?
It's a '62 Grille in the pic based on the bottom bar and the pic 60-66 posted.
