Bullet Style mirrors on our squares
I would like to install bullet style mirrors on my 77. I totally hate the Dumbo mirrors i have on mine. Does any else have these on their trucks. If so which ones did you use. Can you guys share some photos of them please. I was thinking 70 to 80 Camaro ones might fit the door angles correctly.

Re: Bullet Style mirrors on our squares
I'm sure they will look cool enough but you definitely won't see as well behind you. I just bought an 03 Deville and the side mirrors are much larger than my previous car. I can't believe how much nicer it is to back up when I can actually see behind me. It's even nicer in my truck with the big square mirrors. Form vs function is always a trade off. Those Camaro/Cutlass mirrors are some of the coolest ever designed so they will look good anyway.

Re: Bullet Style mirrors on our squares
I know GM used that style on many cars so did Ford. The key will be the door angle where they mount. If the angle of mounting is not close to the truck's, the mirrors will look goofy tilted one way or the other. I am not looking at Ford's versions because I have my limit of Ford parts on my Chevy. It will have only 1 Ford part, the Windstar electric fans.

Re: Bullet Style mirrors on our squares
Look for the 90-91 suburban mirrors they got upgraded and look kinda like the 88-98 truck sport mirrors.
