64 c10 door mechanism
Anyone know how to repair or find the mechanism inside the door panel to open the door. The handle is fine but when push the handle its like its stripped or something. The door opens find from the outside handle but inside its a no go.

I just borrowed this photo from member Mjminino’s build thread:
 Remove the handles and the sheet metal pan. The item pointed out is what you’re after. Either it is disconnected at the latch, or the gears may be stripped out where the handle attaches. Classic Parts and others sell new replacements: http://www.classicparts.com/1964-66-.../#.VQSE2GctFdg

You can do a quick check just pulling the handle and looking at the splines inside the handle and on the shaft sticking out the door. If they look shot 99% of the time that is the problem.

just to cover all the bases, you know that pushing the handle down locks the door, and pulling up opens it? you used the word "push" in your post...
if so, carry on.
