Racing Seats:

Considering doing a strait trade for my bench seat for two racing seats, bracket, and four point harness. Opinions?

Re: Racing Seats:

Well to me that's seams like a steal. I don't know much about 3ARacing. I just bought Corbeau Suspension seats and their tracks for mine. Even after a host of discounts they still cost me close to 1k. But for my back they were worth every cent I spent. Now I have a cherry Grey cloth bench seat in my living room. LOL

Re: Racing Seats:

I wouldn't the seats are a cheapo japan knock off of a good brand,And the harness is not DOT approved.A lot of those cheapo racing seats can break in a wreck,Nhra has banned the use for a lot of those knock off brands.

Re: Racing Seats:

I can always swap the harness I suppose, the seats I would just use for a little while until I have a fully built motor I guess then swap if I get serious enough to race.

ohh very comfy I have a pair of Corbeau Baja RS's in my CJ7. They are suspension seat too and I have driven all over California on and off road and I get absolutely no back fatigue with them.

Re: Racing Seats:

Nice, if I plan on selling my truck would these seats devalue it by chance?

To a purist sure they will. To a restorer most likely they will. To a street rodder probably not. To a younger buyer not likely and might be a bonus.
For me, I have no plans to ever selling mine. I waited too many years to get my 77. So I don't care
If you want my opinion, if you have any thoughts of selling your truck leave the bench in it will satisfy a broader range of buyers.
