I don't know if this has been posted, but a friend shared it on FB and I thought it was too cool not to share. If it has already been shared, I apologize for the double post.

I've always known about subtle differences, and the round vs. square headlights, and the wipers / cowl, but it's cool to see it actually mentioned "on paper".

I always liked that artwork too! It was originally posted in Hot Rod Magazine in the 80's or that is where I first saw it. I was thinking about having my buddy that did my artwork for my shirts do one with GMC grilles

I saw this posted on Facebook. I printed it off and put it with all my truck documents.

I always thought that the hood detail started in 79.

Re: 73 - 87 diffs graphic

That is a really cool sketch and I have always liked it, but the thing that has bothered me the most is everything after '80. For '81-'82 they show both front ends, w/ & w/o V22, and go so far as to note single or dual lamps, but for '83-'84 & '85-...'88 (other peeve) they do not show both. The should have kept with what they started with '81-'82 and shown both front ends up to '91.
