looking for a pic of 60-62 clutch return spring
Hey fellas, I'm in the midst of setting up captainfabs clutch and master cyl adapter and come across a problem. There's a big bracket bolted to my clutch pedal for the return spring like on 4x4's. I'm hoping someone has a picture of the normal return spring setup for the pedal.
Side question, should there be one for the clutch fork, also? When I pulled my 6 out it didn't have one, just a big heavy spring for the clutch pedal.

Re: looking for a pic of 60-62 clutch return spring
I can't comment on the under dash portion, but on my setup with the hydraulic clutch and the slave on the passenger side, there definately is a spring on the clutch fork return...

Re: looking for a pic of 60-62 clutch return spring
My 1960 GMC has a return spring that looks like the one in the photo above. Following is page 11-3 from the 1960 Chevy Truck Shop Manual showing the Clutch Over-Center Spring and Bracket. I'm not sure what purpose it served, but my truck never had one and has always functioned just fine:
