who had the braided power steering hose?
ive searched and could not find it, i remember someone had braided ppower steering hoses, where do i get them?

I have made my own before, but I can't remember at this time what the part numbers were for the fittings, but Earls and Areoquip make the fittings. I believe Earls now sells a kit. (I am refering to a Saginaw style pump) I think MARCH performance sells a kit also.

I think he had a 72 or 71 blue truck with a cowel hood and a 88 style box Right ? 1971Cheyenne ?

not taken negatively, i dont NEED one, but i think its the little things like details that make all the difference in a custom truck, ever go to a show and walk down the rows of cars and although they are nice they all kinda blend together? i gotta build hoses for the truck so i figured i might as well look into my options. thanks for the replies guys.

The 'Hose Man ' in so cal is a great place. When I put my LT1 in my S10, I also dropped in the 6 speed manual tranny. Needless to say the slave and master for the 2 different wouldn't connect correctly because of the hose end differences. I took both to him and he carefully cut off the connectors and reconnected them with his hydrolic press and fittings and they worked perfect. Never leaked!! Only cost me 10 bucks.
