Cowl Induction Hood

Does anyone know a good company that sells steel cowl induction hoods for a 86 GMC? I have seen some of the Goodmark ones and Reflexxion hoods. If anyone has pics of theirs please post for me too look at, thanks Michael from Arizona.

Re: Cowl Induction Hood

I don't know if board mbr: captkaos supplies them or not but I'd check. You may also check Classic Industries, Brothers Trucks or LMC Truck.

I'm upgrading to a steel hood this summer. Mine is glass now though. 3 1/2"

Re: Cowl Induction Hood

I had found a fiberglass hood for 190$ but it was a pin hood. The hinge fiberglass hod was 300$ but the steel hood was 400$. JEGS 2005 Catalog

Yeah, but I don't think they are steel. Most of the big cowl hoods I have seen were fiberglass.

Take a look here-http://www.73-87chevytrucks.com or PM Chris (Capt Kaos). His site is down because he was in Houston on a business trip, but will be back up soon. I "highly" recommend buying from him.

I'm glad that I had the connections to the paint and body work, because it wouldnt' look near what it does, and when I finish my truck I thinking about build another square body except it will be a sleeper project with a ls motor. Thanks, every one likes the diamond plate it was fairly inexpensive and easy to form and cut

Re: Cowl Induction Hood

We sell TriPlus and Reflexxion hoods both for these trucks. Shipping on these would be truck freight. You can buy them also from Keystone if you have a location close to you. The higher cost from keystone will offset the shipping cost. A reflexxion hood will cost a little more than a Triplus hood. We have some of the lowest priced parts in the US
