photo shop help with tonneau cover idea
Ok. I know there are some photo shop wizards out there that could probably whip something up for my tonneau cover idea. I would like to make a cover for my long bed using the lines from a hood down the middle of the cover. I would also like for the cover to wrap over the bed sides and tail gate. I know that it would take some cutting and welding but I think it would be pretty sick if I could pull it off. What do you guys think? Comments suggestion or other threads covering this idea already.

Not much of a help but my Gaylord Lid wraps over the bedsides and tailgate.

Re: photo shop help with tonneau cover idea
You're looking to do a bed cover, not a tonneau. Tonneaus are made of fabric. They originated as covers for topless roadsters, then guys started having them made for truck beds. The type of bed cover you are considering sounds familiar to a custom idea I've had for years. I don't think I'll ever do it so I'll share it so maybe someone else might do it. take a hood/hoods and mate them into the bed. The nose of the hood would become the upper tailgate and the seam would be in the bedside. In other words, the beside would be chopped down to where the round turn to flat just like up front. The rear would mimmick the front. Maybe just go back as far as the hood is long to hinge, then have in front of it solid

Re: photo shop help with tonneau cover idea
Thanks for the correction on the terms. That is what I want though a bed cover. I do like the picture of the bed cover that wraps over the edge. I was thinking that the covers edge could follow the line in the bed that swoops down towards the tail light.

Re: photo shop help with tonneau cover idea
Here are a couple pics of mine. The truck is hardly ever out in bad weather so I don't have water penetration issues. It keeps things out of site from looters and is useful keeping my loads secure.
