Fender Emblems, Silverado 10 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Need help with the fender emblem placement. I picked up a very nice set of emblems off eBay. The studs are off, which is what I wanted. I didn't want to drill holes in the fender, so I put adhesive tape on the back. What I need from someone is some measurements for the correct mounting placement.

I looked at lots of photos, but it's hard to tell exactly where the emblem goes.

I measured from the fender crease 1/4in. down for the top of the emblem placement and 3 and 1/4in. from the fender edge on my 86 C10. I took these measurements off of 86 C10 in the junkyard. The 1/4in down from the crease is the placement of the 10 (high point) of the emblem. Hope this helps.

I forgot that I had a photo of my emblem, using the measurements I gave to you. Thought you might want to see how they turned out.

Looks nice. I didn't get around to putting mine on yet, can't wait to. Just waiting on a warm day, if that ever happens.
