1971 c10 1987 IROC swap

I am planning on buying my friends 1987 Camaro IROC. The truck I have right now has an old mid eighties 454 and 3 speed auto trans. The Camaro has a 305 and a 5 speed trans, I am going to swap the engine and trans into my truck, ie. also has a Paxton supercharger on it. I am going to move the engine and tranny back so that the shifter is in a perfect position to shift like in a car. I can do the modifications myself. The rear end is a 9 bolt posi or limited slip (mines a 12 bolt non posi), im going to cut and grind off the existing brackets and weld in brackets for my truck (As long as the width is within an inch +/-). That stuff is just fabrication stuff, and I can wire the tpi engine in no problem. I could have made this short, just wanted you to know what I was going to do to my truck. the Camaro has wilwood aluminum hub 4 piston disk brakes and corvette rear brakes. of course if I use the axle the back brakes will work (im also planning on using the master cylinder from the Camaro), the only thing I don't know is if the hubs will fit on a 71 c10 spindle. The 14 lb gta rims will fit on the new bolt pattern, im not going to use the 20" 5x5 rims that are on it now. His Camaro was origionaly a Players race car and gm used brembo brakes with caprice station wagon rotors, they had to change the bearings to make it fit ( I know this because we origionaly restored his car to Players, but the unsprung weight was rediculous. I don't care about the brake caliper, I can always machine up a bracket to fit, but what I don't know if the spindle shaft is the right length? If the spindle is longer, can I add spacers? If its shorter maybe I can machine the hub a little to recess the bearings? Has anyone tried to do this? Also, this is an aside, I'm removing the factory air conditioning (all of it including heater core and the inside and outside housing, and the controller) and the factory cruise control, is this stuff worth anything or should I just take it to the scrapyard? Thanks for any info.
PS please don't refer to the corvette front brake links as it doesn't apply.
