It depends on how it's built, we ran 2 into 1 on our stockcar on purpose.

Dual 2 1/2" mandrel bent bends into a 3 1/2" single with a Dynomax straight-thru shorty muffler. Driver's side pipe length from the 'Vette Ramhorn manifold exit to the Y-pipe measured 9 1/2" long, used 1 - 4' section of 3 1/2" pipe total.

No resrtiction , mostly just a giant collector. We were required to use cast iron manifolds.
