Sport mirrors for a 71 Chevy?
Anyone happen to know the GM part numbers?
I have NOS 3981409 and 3981410 that I received as a gift well over a decade ago. I was going to use them, but have some suspicions they're the wrong mirrors.

Re: Sport mirrors for a 71 Chevy?
Funny thing is, the only place on the web that SEEMS to confirm they're the right mirrors is on this website. So far Parts Wiki shows them as for 1973 and beyond. Another place older than that. Seems if they're all the same they wouldn't change the part numbers.

Can you post a pic of them.
The 73-87 version is very different.

Re: Sport mirrors for a 71 Chevy?
Those are the correct part numbers for 71-72 CK truck base mirrors. But they were also used on G vans until much later which is probably what you are seeing.

Re: Sport mirrors for a 71 Chevy?
Thanks again Tim. Looks like I got the right mirrors, just need the hardware.
As for a picture, these are the same mirrors. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=664899

Yes they are/were. I bought one set of them, sitting in storage now. Waiting for the next project, some where down the road.
