In one of my previous threads some guys hinted that I needed to get rid of the plastic fuel filter. I am working on it. I bought some of the carb parts that you all suggested, but am wondering if the line that I have circled in red is supposed to be a "hard line" seeing as the filter is actually in the carb (I bought a new filter and spring).

Is there anywhere I can buy this line already bent? I am running a 350....

on the carb there sould be a threaded port where the filter goes that will accept a hard line. im pretty sure you can see it in the lmc catalog for the 72 350 setup

Try The Right Stuff Detailing (http://www.getdiscbrakes.com/) or Inline Tube (http://inlinetube.com/) for pre-bent lines.

Plastic fuel filter is fine as long as it doesn't end up near a heat source. I prefer the metal ones myself because of this reason.

But you can choose between in the carb filter or external and myself I prefer the external.

You can pick up a factory hard line all day long at most any parts yard for pennies. Seamless steel is OE for safety. No splitting.
