How are the 1/4 panels joined in the door area?

Just going over my Blazer I picked up last week, and getting ready for a frame off restoration. I noticed that the 1/4 panel is stick welded to the door jamb and was wondering is the panel had been replaced at one time? I've worked on many cars over the years, and usually the 1/4 is spot welded in this area.
Thanks

I'm just wondering if this was a repair done on the factory floor?

Thanks for confirming that ! I will be putting seam sealer in this area anyway, so it's no big concern.

My jams are welded in the exact same spot as well.

If you look in the factory assembly manual, there are several areas that are specified to be "electric" welded. This is probably of those areas but the bedside can be unbolted, a few welds and spot welds cut out, and removed as a complete assembly.
