swb 4x4

Man, why do all the swb 4x4's happen to be so far away from me? I have been looking for a running swb 4x4 for awhile, but can't seen to find one around here. I contacted Randy (teeitup) about his swb 4x4 frame he had , but it sold before I could make a deal on it. Hopefully I will find one around here soon.

I wish that I lived on OK. You will have a much greater chance of finding one out there in good condition than you would on the east coast. Hang in there I bet you'll find one soon.

I'll second that. We struggle to find these trucks, period! Let alone finding a SWB, and to top it off, a 4x4! Count your blessings.....

Thanks CPNE for posting my pic. I can't get it to come up on mine.
I am not sure why it won't come up on my computer.

Sorry, but that Orange truck is not for sale...it's not even mine. I found the pic 6 months ago when it was for sale, and saved the pic for inspiration. I'm doing a frame off on a 72' 4x4 Fleetside SWB, AC cab that I plan on painting just like the one in the picture. I found my SWB 4x4 in Lubbock, Tx flew there to get her and drove her home. I good luck with your hunt!

I have one I'm thinking of selling, but it doesn't run. I was going to build it next, but the 2wd took some wind out of my sails. It is a 72 SWB 4x4 4 speed with pto winch and winch bumper. The body is in fair shape, but needs rockers and cab corners. It was green with a white top. It has power disk brakes and power steering. It currently sits with no motor, but is otherwise complete. I would sell it for $1800.

Match71- Here is another one for you to drool over. I think this is the sweetest one I've seen! Of course it's not mine.

You may look a long time to find a SWB 4x4 in the exact color you want. I too want my 4x4 orange with a white top but was willing to buy one that was not rusted out and just happened to have AC. Find one that is in good hsape that has minor rust damage in any color and think of all the fun you'll have getting it painted the way you want. Here's my K-10 when I bought it last July 03:

Shoot...forgot to post pic....

4x4

I have a 71 4x4 swb fleetside project truck that i am getting ready to advertise. I have had it for about 5 years and have not had time to get to it. I am a 2wd guy. It needs rocker panel work and complete resto. It is a rolling truck with no eng. It came with the original 4 speed setup and i also have a complete 72 auto setup with it. p/s p/b non a/c. I also have extra front and rear end setups. I will take my money out of it, which is 2500.00I will consider trades on 2wd 67-72 trucks, or projects. I am about finished with one truck and have 2 more after that. So something needs to go. Let me know if i can help. Steve

I think that black and red truck is from Michigan if that is the same one it has a big block in it and that paint and body is flawless, I'm painting mine just like it.
