68 Chevy swb,L96/6L90 swap,steering column ?
I just purchased a 2010 2500 chevy express van,with a L96/6l90.In my 68 Chevy short bed.
This steering column in the 2010 2500 van I bought that had the L96/6l90 has a steering column with cruise on the steering wheel and shifter on the column with PRNDM1 with push button manual shift on the column shifter, how hard would this be to use this column in my 68 as it works in the van ? |

I stripped a 2004 GMC Savana 2500 and put the wiring harness, steering column, dash cluster, fuel pump and motor and trans into my 68 shortbed. If you could post a picture of the steering column in question, I could probably give you a better answer. I removed the column shift, and installed a B&M light truck mega shifter. The two-wire sensor on the back of the shifter for mine was only a neutral safety switch. -Josh
