Overpriced '65 SBFS
I understand the seller can ask anything they want and the market is the market but this guy is trying to make a home run. Granted it looks rust free but there is not a straight panel on it and it does not run.
http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/ctd/4944175489.html I have been trying to find something like this locally for months and everything I find is a basket case or they think it is made of gold. How do you guy's find decent runners for $500.00? Thanks! |

Re: Overpriced '65 SBFS
It is a little rough for that price. One thing that drives the price up is that it is a short bed which are getting harder to find. The other thing is it is for sale by a used car dealer and we all know the vehicles they sell are always over priced. Here in Arizona you probably wont find an all its life Arizona truck for $500.

Re: Overpriced '65 SBFS
I hunted and hunted for mine. It was the best truck on CL at the time in the budget I want to spend.
Jeep Cherokee's are the same way around here right now, they book for 800-2500 bone stock, people asking 6k for them. Crazy.

Re: Overpriced '65 SBFS
Is that a propane conversion on top of the carb? Perhaps he meant $6500 after they finish the complete restoration?

Re: Overpriced '65 SBFS
Looks like a spark arrester on the carb, I had one on a 409 boat engine.

Re: Overpriced '65 SBFS
Going to lock this thread. Anyone is allowed to ask any price for anything and people are allowed to pay whatever prices or walk away. Bashing folks (member of board or not) is not allowed or cool.
