Re: need some gear help
I don't know anything about them but looking at them I would say it doesn't matter which side it goes on.

Re: need some gear help
I wonder if it was a superseded part, originally made w/o a snap ring and they realized they needed one.

Re: need some gear help
thats too funny, i was thinking they just had a bunch of usable parts and figured it didnt matter and just tossed them together cuz the worked with or without the snap ring. as long as there is an internal groove for a snap ring to hold the inner gear it won't matter, also if one groove is closer to the outer hub then it will be side orientated, or there may be 2 grooves on the shaft for either of the inner gears. i need pictures of live setups, cuz i only have the hubs off the burban. i will be able to check in a week as thats the next time i will be at my storage unit... thanks for your help!!! hey i have a few parts i will be posting also in a week!!! PM sent

Re: need some gear help
I would try to fit everything in each hub. As long as you can get the axle c-clip on and the outer fits the splines, and snap ring goes in, you should be good to go.
