Going 5 speed, column idea's?
For the guys that have gone to floor shifter, what have you done with where ur column shifter once was? just removed the shifter and left the hole or what?

I have the floor shift column in the 66 and on the 63 I just removed the handle and cut off the piece that sticks out of the collar. Was just going to fill the hole with liquid metal and repaint it. Have got a flaming river column for it now.

switched to a non column shift unit and sold it to a member... if you can find a 4 speed column that would require pulling the column and steering shaft...

I've seen alot of guys use the paintable ididit floor shift steering column.

Get a four speed column delete and problem solved. I have an extra one sitting here in primer I won't be using as I finally found a factory 4 speed column.....PM sent
