Re: Neighbors Yard. Worth Saving?

So the one Im wanting to buy is the 64-66 the owner couldn't remember the exact year on it. Long bed, just about every panel is gonna need patched, replaced. Inline 6, 3 speed. Its been sitting a long time and is going to need a lot of work. Driver side door, rocker and cab floor is going to need replaced.

What is a good offer on something like this? I was thinking $500 on it? Higher? Lower?

Re: Neighbors Yard. Worth Saving?

I agree with pimpston65 here. I have a guy here like that locally. Sitting on a gold mine of convertible chevelle big block cars, a bunch or 55-57 and quite a few old wagons including some 2 doors. When I go visit I sit and we swap stories, look at all his new toys....drink a few Dr. Peppers as I don't go without a 6 pack and then hes ready to talk cash.

If you show him the same appreciation for the trucks and let him know they are for you, not a flip.....he'll probably sell in the long run.

agreed. he says he's already had an offer of 800 on it but the guy never came back. he does sell some things... he had a 63 chevy corvair van that was sitting out there until about 2 months ago. id love to know what whoever bought it paid for it. I dig those!
