5 lug TO 8 lug conversion

I see alot of people go the other way but im wanting 8 lug wheels on all 4 corners. whats the easiest way to achieve this? I have a 2wd 67 longbed c10 and im wanting some heavier duty axles WITH disc brakes front and rear. Any ideas?

Re: 5 lug TO 8 lug conversion

I have disc brake spindles up front. Do 8lug rotors fit all spindles?

I think it will take a rear end swap and the front probably spindles and maybe a arms and tie rod ends. Most stuff on a 1 ton is bigger then anything else.

Re: 5 lug TO 8 lug conversion

3/4-ton lower a-arms are different.
The steering components are different.
Ball joints are different.

You need a 71-87 3/4-ton donor parts
(with or without the actual crossmember).

Re: 5 lug TO 8 lug conversion

Will the crossmember from a 3/4 to bolt up to a 1/2 ton frame?
