"Power Lock Differential" option...
I assume that means Positraction???? How do I go about finding the gear ratio out as it is not listed on the glovebox door(it does say "Powerlock Differentail").
It is from a C-20 suburban, BB,auto. How much are these rears selling for as I would like to unload the rear & the discbrake front clip to cover some of the cost of this sub. Thanks- Joe

If it dosen't say a gear ratio on the glove box sticker and it is a factory big block it should have a Dana 60 axle with a 3:54 gear. That should bring good money.

The powr-loc can be rebuilt. I have a scanned in copy of the manual in the link in my sig. Yes it's a clutch type. tested mine per the manual and it's still tight. the powr-loc is about as tight as you can get with out going to a locker.

If it has a Dana rear axle and some monkey hasn't been inside it, it has a metal tag on the diff with the gear ratio actually stamped on it. At least the ring and pinion numbers and you can do the math. I have seen both style tags.
