I looked at the www.autocolorlibrary.com website and couldn't find anything on that paint code. 514 is a red color though.

Is your truck solid red, or have white top? Maybe the extra is for trim colors?

Paint code
Don't know what the additional numbers mean, but the local Sherwin Williams Auto Paint store mixed it from the full color code, base/clear. I believe the color is listed by name and code number in the GM Resto pac, it's at home so I'll check it this evening.

For '69, paint code 514 shows it to be red. The refinish numbers from Dupont, and R-M, are different. As for the prefix letters and suffix letters, I think that is what they are. Did you get the numbers from the data plate on the glovebox door, or from under the hood on the tag? That could be the difference.
In "69, I don't see anything in the Truck Data book to indicate any letter prefixes or suffixes for any paint numbers. You should be able to go with the paint code 514, and have it the original color when painted.
