Firewall color?

Ive got my front clip off, painting the frame, suspension and going to pull the 235/trans and clean it up. what are people's opinions on firewall color? Im going to do the truck in blue/teal probably but the inner fenders/suspension/frame black. Ive seen the whole engine bay be black and some where the firewall is same color as rest of truck.

What was original? Whats' most common?

Re: Firewall color?

Body colour or fawn was original depending on manufacturing plant. Body colour is most common. If you decode your VIN for your truck's plant, you will know what is original for yours.

Re: Firewall color?

I think it looks best when a firewall is body color.
