Re: factory white spoke/styled rims

Dad has them on his 77.

I sandblasted, epoxy primed, and painted them in the original GM code 12 white.

The factory GM ones look good on our trucks ;getting harder to find now.
They were popular on the Chevy Sports.

That particular set aren't factory wheels. The cut outs on the factory ones have the edges curved in towards the drums and use the rally wheel center caps. The aftermarket ones were really popular and tons of companies made them.

Thanks! Grampa bought the truck new and it originally had wheel covers. Dad put the spoke/styled wheels on when he got the truck in the early 90's (they came off a 78 he used to own). We thought about changing to rally wheels when we did the restoration about 10 years ago. But decided to stay with the spoke/styled wheels because they were period correct and you just don't see them (especially GM ones) any where near as much as rally wheels on these trucks.

Yeah, those inward curving edges of the triangular holes are an easy way to tell the factory GM wheels apart from the aftermarket ones.

Re: factory white spoke/styled rims

Like all factory wheels, these wagon wheels were stamped. The aftermarket ones are cut out plate.
