Removing front bumpstop brackets?

Cut my springs a while back and removed the rubber bumpstops but left the mounting bracket still intact. Now I've decided I'm not low enough in the front so I'm wanting to completely remove them and cut some more out of my springs. Right now I sit about 1/2 above them, and bottom out regularly. Any pics of ur factory control arms with the bump brackets removed? Just trying to get any idea of clearance before I start...

Re: Removing front bumpstop brackets?

I cut mine off, leaving enough to have a steering stop. I need to look into bump stops, but not high on my list right now. I was bottoming with 2 inch lowering springs, rides better now. Also added shock extender and new KYB shocks, rides way better. You can get a Sawzall in easily. Grinder has some limitations, but you can make it work.
